The annual Fine Food Fair, held in the Market Square, is nearly upon us once more. The date for your diary is Sunday 23rd September 2007, although there will be events elsewhere in the city throughout the weekend.
Abbey Stores are once again organising the beer, cider and wine tent and if you find your way to their homepage there is a free beer offer that you can take advantage of.

This week sees the start of the Salisbury Food & Drink Festival 2006. There’s events all over the city, apparently, culminating with the third Salisbury Food & Drink Fair on Sunday 24th September in the Market Square from 10am-5pm.
This year, the fair’s beer and wine tent is being run by Abbey Stores, so it’s bound to be brimming with only the finest beer and ciders. If you can only make it to one of the events of the week - I think that the beer and cider tent is the one to head for!

If you’re visiting Salisbury between 26th May and 11th June, you might want to have a quick peep at the Salisbury International Arts Festival website. Even if you’re not planning to come here, but aren’t too far away, it’s certainly worth a look.
There’s everything from Aboriginal dancing at Stonehenge (no, really!), fireworks over the cathedral, folk music, theatre, street shows, famous people reading books, and probably quite a lot of fluttering silk flags. And that’s just a taster for what’s on the full programme.
We’ll be heading to a few gigs and events, since it’s on our doorstep and quite hard to ignore! Photos will probably wend their way on here afterwards…
